Safari Overview

In this trip you will visit three safari parks and see wildlife up close from Lions, Leopards, cheetahs, Elephants, Rhinos, Hyenas, Zebras and many other species including birds. Also you will have a chance to do activities at Datoga & Hadzabe tribes also doing some activities at Mto wa mbu village
Your safari starts in Arusha and Ends in Arusha but we’re quite flexible with your pick-up location and we’ll provide you with a professional advice and tailor your trip accordingly.
During the safari, you will travel in a Land Cruiser or 4x4 Jeep with a pop-up roof, freezer (or cooler box), binoculars, battery charger and a professional, English-speaking guide. Complimentary drinks and water will be served during the game drives.

Itinerary

Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro airport, you will meet your guide who will transport you to your first hotel. The rest of the day is yours to get acquainted with Arusha City as you wish!
Tomorrow morning your Tanzania safari will begin!

Early morning after breakfast at around 6:30am, you will have a short briefing before you depart to Tarangire National Park. The park with its endless tree savannah including the impressive baobab trees and seasonal marshes is also home to the largest population of elephants in northern Tanzania. You are also likely to spot giraffes, buffaloes, lions, zebras, gnus and other types of antelopes and gazelles. Your guide will open the roof of the vehicle for excellent wildlife viewing. Picnic lunch will be served at around 12:30pm at the picnic site and after that you will continue to explore this incredible park. In the evening after exploration, you will drive straight to your accommodation for dinner and overnight

After breakfast we depart straight to Serengeti National Park passing through Ngorongoro Conservation Area, stopping at a built viewpoint that provides a near 180° view of the Ngorongoro crater. The Serengeti is truly spectacular. It is famous for its vast open grasslands which allow for excellent sightings of wildlife. The Serengeti is Tanzania’s oldest National Park and it is also one of the oldest ecosystems on earth. Its climate and vegetation have remained largely untouched for millions of years. Whilst the Serengeti boasts abundant wildlife, it is perhaps best known for the annual Great Migration. Vast numbers of wildebeest; accompanied by large numbers of zebra and antelope move in an annual pattern, constantly seeking fresh grazing. Serengeti offers an exotic game-viewing experience in the whole of Africa giving you up-close look of the animals: great herds of Buffalo, smaller groups of Elephant and Giraffe, and thousands of Eland, Topi, Impala and Grant’s gazelle. Also Serengeti is known for its large number of predators including Lions, Leopards, Cheetah, Jackals, Hyenas and Wild Dogs

On this day you'll spend the full day exploring Serengeti National Park on a game drive. You can opt to have a hot lunch at the camp or eat a picnic in the park. We strongly recommend that you wake up early for a game drive in order to enjoy the sunrise in the middle of the bush while spotting wild animals in the park.

Early morning after breakfast at around 6:30am, you will drive straight to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and will descend down to the crater which is 600m deep. The Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtakingly a beautiful setting. It is one of the most beautiful natural wildlife safari sites in the world and an exceptional place to interact with people from the Maasai tribe. On reaching the crater’s edge, the 20 km diameter caldera opens up before you in all its stunning glory and you will descend into the crater on an adventurous trail.
This World Heritage Site is seasonally home to over 25,000 animals in including a wide range of birds’ species, hyenas and the endangered black rhino. Hot Lunch will be served at a picnic spot at the hippo pool and after that you will continue with your incredible game drive inside Ngorongoro crater. After further exploration inside the park, you will drive straight to your accommodation

After breakfast at you will drive to Lake Eyasi, the journey takes just over an hour.
The Hadzabe Bushmen are the last true hunter-gatherers in East Africa, around the lake live about 700-800 tribesmen in small groups. The Hadzabe live almost the same way as our own ancestors in the Stone Age. They hunt animals with bow and arrow and collect fruits, roots and honey from the baobab trees. The Hadzabe hunt antelopes and gazelles, but also smaller animals such as birds or mongooses.
In the early afternoon you will visit then the Datoga tribe. These pastoralists are also skilled blacksmiths. They collect metal scrap, which they cleverly process into bracelets, arrowheads and knives. You also have the opportunity to visit one of the huts in the village. Here you can watch the women how they grind flour from corn and other home activities.
You will head back to your accommodation for Lunch.
After Lunch you will head to Mto wa Mbu Village. Spend some hours here in the bustling farming community and you’ll discover a side of Tanzania that many visitors miss.
You will probably start in the village banana plantation, where the community grows more than 30 different varieties of bananas.
You may visit a youth art project, and learn about the different painting styles and techniques. You can visit a wood workshop, where you can watch skilled members of the Makonde tribe carefully carving intricate figurines, masks and household objects.
Your tour will probably finish in the bustling local market, where you can wander around stalls selling fruit and vegetables, spices and meat.
You can also try a tuk-tuk ride around Mto wa Mbu village.
After that you will drive straight to your accommodation in Arusha

After breakfast at the accommodation, depending on the departure time of your flight. You might get a chance to go around the beautiful city of Arusha. Getting an Experience on people’s way of life in the city.
Also you might enjoy the ambience at the accommodation, while waiting for your guide to pick you up ready for the trip to Kilimanjaro International Airport.
